How do you remove and install the front and rear bumper covers on Hyundai Sonata?

For front bumper assembly removal on the 2005 and earlier models, ensure that; apply the parking brake, lift the vehicle, and place jackstands securely. First, you have to give the headlight assemblies a removal, followed by the bumper cover nuts present in the headlight openings thereafter remove the fasteners in the upper and lower center regions of the bumper. Next, you unscrew four screws at the top outer corners of the bumper cover to free it from the fenders, and you pull out four retainer in the grille area, lift up the bumper cover off the car, to put it back you do it in reverse manner. First, lock the parking brake, lift the car, and position jack stands under it for year 2006 and onward models. Unbolt the adjacent fasteners at the near front parts of the inner fenders to expose the bumper cover fasteners, and pull back the inner fenders to unbolt the retainer of the front inner wheel well in order to expose the mounting bolts of the bumper. There are bolts which hold the top and bottom of the bumper cover which need to be unscrewed after which applying emphasis on using a trim stick or taking an elongated screw driver and wrap its head with some adhesive tapes to unstick the bumper cover in the upper ends and the areas surrounding the headlights, while pulling it in the forward direction when sticking it remove the necessary emphasis on the required areas to stick the bumper cover back. To remove the rear bumper cover on first through 2005 vehicles, first, take out the lower mounting clips, then remove the fasteners that attach the bumper cover to the wheel opening. Raise the trunk lid and the weatherstrip, then proceed to remove the trunk floor mat and the rear plastic trim panel then the scandalous tail-light assemblies and the interior trunk panels. Take out the screws along the upper part of the bumper and raise the company completely, and installation is vice versa the process. For the lights and hoods of 2006 models and onwards, remove the rear inner fender covers getting to the fastener which is located inside the wheel opening, then, remove the fasteners that will secure the corners of the bumper cover inside the wheel opening. Pop out the fasteners located at the bottom of the bumper cover, shrink the trunk weatherstrip on the side of the car and unscrew the upper fasteners. At the back, it connects beneath the taillights with plastic push clips; to remove the bumper cover, one has to disengage the push clips and to reinstall, vice versa.
