To remove the radiator, start by disconnecting the negative battery cable. Then, remove the engine splash shield(s) and any covers for the engine. Disconnect the wiring to both fan motors and drain the cooling system. Detach the upper and lower radiator hoses, as well as the reservoir hose. If your vehicle has automatic transaxles, disconnect the transaxle oil cooler lines from the radiator. Unbolt the radiator top mounts and carefully remove the radiator and fans as an assembly. Remove the cooling fans from the radiator. Inspect the radiator for leaks, damage, and blockage. Clean the radiator with compressed air and a soft brush.
