Hyundai 55351-22252 Rear Left-Hand Shock Absorber Assembly

Slide the steering knuckle into the strut flange and insert the two bolts. Install the nuts and tighten them to the specified torque. If removed, install the driveaxle hub nut and tighten it to the torque. Position the brake hose bracket on the strut and install the bolt, tightening it securely. Finally, install the wheel, lower the vehicle, and tighten the lug nuts to the torque. Tighten the upper mounting nuts to the torque.

A spring compressor, available for rent at most auto parts stores, can be used to compress the spring.

Loosen the rear wheel lug nuts.

It should be securely supported on jackstands placed under the vehicle at the lifting points, not under the rear suspension arms.
