At first, take out the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts and unplug the oxygen sensor wire at the connector located directly behind the top left corner of the radiator. Before removing it you should unplug the wire at the connector, unscrew them and remove the exhaust manifold heat shield. Thereafter raise slightly to have access to it and then unscrew it off from there. It is important not to touch the tip or allow any oil or grease to come into contact with it during removal and installation time. Then, screw in a new one securely into your exhaust manifold. Thereafter place it well with other retaining bolts whereby they must be tightened securely after their installation closely followed by plugging in of electrical connectors.
